Who we are
Drum Property Group was established in 2004 by Group Managing Director Graeme Bone.
The Group is privately owned and managed by its multi-disciplinary team of Executive Directors, with over 130 years of collective experience between them.
Their day-to-day involvement on all current and future projects provides a direct decision-making process, allowing Drum to move expediently and efficiently for the right opportunity.
Group Managing Director
Graeme is the founder and principal shareholder of Drum Property Group. After qualifying as a solicitor, he practiced as a Partner of an Aberdeen law firm for seven years prior to focusing on the property sector. He has over twenty years experience in the financing and delivery of complex land assembly, development and investment projects for blue-chip national and International occupiers.
From a general practice surveying background Paul entered the property development industry in 1990. Having been involved in various large-scale strategic developments across Scotland, he started Palisade Properties PLC in 1996. He was successful in delivering projects throughout the central belt including food stores for Asda, Tesco, Lidl and Marks & Spencer, as well as space for high street retailers such as Argos, Superdrug, Oxfam and Bank of Scotland.
He has delivered several urban mixed use developments where he has emphasised the need for strong and imaginative design and the use of quality materials . Paul believes in a close partnership approach with the agencies that control the development environment and in particular the planning and roads departments of local authorities. He joined Drum Property Group in 2006 and is responsible for identifying and delivering all development projects for the company.
Fife has 20 years’ experience in communications, marketing and event management. He has worked for several marketing services groups, as well as owning and running his own agency.
He specialised in sports and facilities management for over a decade, and was an Executive Director of Hibernian FC between 2008 and 2012. Fife oversees stakeholder liaison and communications, HR, marketing, and event and facilities management activity for the Group.
He has been a Fellow of The Marketing Society (Scotland) since 2008.
Gordon is a qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager with over 30 years’ project management experience in construction and development on major projects throughout the UK. He established his own firm in 1994, before going on to be a Partner at Davis Langdon.
Gordon has overseen the delivery of many major projects across the UK for multi-national corporations and UK institutions and he currently project manages the construction and delivery of all developments for the Group.
Stuart joined Drum in March 2013 after 15 years of finance and property experience with a leading house builder. Stuart has particular experience in the setting and implementation of corporate strategy, company and property acquisitions and disposals, and in securing corporate and property finance.
Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, Stuart is currently Chairman of ICAS Grampian Area and a member of the ICAS Member Engagement Board. He is also a Director of Enterprise North East Trust.
Bryan is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and has over 20 years experience in UK commercial property. Bryan joined Drum in June 2014 in order to lead a new division within the Group, Drum Real Estate Investment Management (DREIM). Prior to Drum, Bryan had established ColdSpring Asset & Development Management in October 2010 after holding the position as Head of Property with Stockland UK (formerly Halladale), a UK subsidiary of one of Australia’s largest diversified property groups and a top 50 ASX company.
At Stockland Bryan was responsible for an Investment and Development portfolio worth in excess of £1.5bn spread across all commercial property sectors throughout the UK and has considerable experience of all UK commercial and retail sectors. Bryan's key responsibility with DREIM is the management of Drum Income Plus REIT.
