Drum Property Group completed the acquisition of Progressive Residential (Minerva Street) Ltd, in April 2016 securing a consented residential development site adjacent to the bustling area of Finnieston in Glasgow. The highly-anticipated Minerva Street development now named G3 Square will feature 108 apartments that are due to be completed in 2020.
G3 Square will rise to six and seven storeys, with car parking and lift access to all levels. The architecture will echo the height and feel of nearby traditional sandstone building and crescents, while planting will frame around both sides of the south block and flow through the centre, creating leafy spaces for recreation and a place for residents to relax in the heart of the city.
The rise of Finnieston as a key part of the West End and its proximity to the University of Glasgow, Scottish Power’s new HQ building, St Vincent Plaza and the International Financial District, has helped to make it one of the best-performing residential areas in the UK.
Drum recently launched the first phase 108 apartments for sale, with a second phase of to follow in 2019.
