Regional hotel, leisure and distribution development.

Drum redeveloped Ballantyne House on Academy Street, Inverness, for Travelodge in 2017. Drum acquired the office building earlier in 2016 and Travelodge entered into a 25 year lease for the hotel on completion of the development works in June 2017. The new facility comprises 54 bedrooms with an associated café bar.

Drum also completed construction of a new 61-bedroom Travelodge at the new A96 roundabout at Elgin Business Park in 2020. Drum acquired the land in the summer of 2017 and built the new hotel for Travelodge, whilst the adjacent petrol station and Starbucks facilities are being built for Eurogarages Ltd. Now completed, the provision of these facilities in Elgin will deliver real benefits for local residents and visitors, whilst providing additional economic impact for the town and surrounding area.
