Drum Win Property Company of the Year
Drum Property Group was crowned Property Company of the Year for the fifth time at the Scottish Property Awards last night. Drum’s Candleriggs Square project, delivered with partner Stamford Property Investments, was also recognised at the independent competition which honours achievements in the real estate sector in front of over 600 guests at the event in Glasgow.
The judges commended the Drum team for the sheer scale of their current projects, their bravery in undertaking significant urban regeneration, and their impactful contribution to Scotland’s property landscape.
In addition to the top award, Candleriggs Square won Large Regeneration Project of the Year, whilst The Social Hub, the community-focused co-live and co-work hybrid hospitality concept which opened at Candleriggs Square in 2024, won Student Accommodation of the Year and Development of the Year (Commercial Use).
Alan Robertson, Chair of the Judging Panel, commented,
“It’s always interesting to see how changes in the market affect the range and number of entries in these awards. In judging this year, we reviewed a varied and interesting portfolio. We were delighted to see that the number of entries this year is the highest in more than five years.
Congratulations also to all the professional services finalists which, in both quality and quantity, have again demonstrated the strength and depth of the property and construction professions based here in Scotland.”
