Drum Wins OAS Development Award.
Drum Property Group wins ‘Best Deal Outside Central London’ at OAS Development Awards 2013 for the Prime Four development.
Prime Four Business Park has gone from vision to reality in 2012, underpinned by commercial activity unprecedented in the market in 2012. Drum Property Group pre-let over 500,000 sq ft of office and hotel accommodation; secured construction debt provision of £52 million from Barclays Bank; and sold 350,000 sq ft to F&C Commercial Property Trust for £97 million.
When awarding Drum the ‘Best Deal Outside Central London’ Award the judges commented the activity was, ‘A hugely impressive string of pre-lets totalling over 500,000 sq ft at increasingly impressive rents and lease lengths with minimal incentives. This has in effect led to the creation of a new office district for Aberdeen’.
This year’s OAS Development Awards ceremony was attended by nearly 240 senior industry professionals who attended the awards at the Victoria Park Plaza, London. Guests representing 116 companies, up from 85 companies the previous year enjoyed a sumptuous meal and entertainment from Kate Silverton.
Eight main categories were presented at the lunch where Kate Silverton the TV presenter hosted the awards assisted by Mike Phillips, Acting Editor, Property Week.
The OAS Development Awards are now into their 3rd decade and are recognised by developers, investors, architects and agents alike as one of the most prestigious industry award schemes.
