Drum Wins Double Honours at Scottish Property Awards
Drum Property Group has been named Property Company of the Year for the sixth time at the Scottish Property Awards, earning the top recognition at last night’s ceremony in Glasgow.
Drum's landmark Port Hamilton project also secured Deal of the Year, in front of more than 600 guests from across Scotland’s commercial property sector.
This year’s judging panel - made up of 20 senior industry experts - assessed submissions spanning office developments, hospitals, schools, health and community facilities, universities, hotels, and major regeneration sites nationwide.
The Deal of the Year award recognised the extensive collaboration behind the transformation of Port Hamilton—an ambitious £200 million redesign of the 282,000 sq ft Edinburgh city‑centre office into a state‑of‑the‑art innovation hub. The agreement, one of the largest pre‑letting deals ever completed in Edinburgh, will see the complex become Lloyds Banking Group’s main Scottish base when works conclude in 2027.
Drum was honoured alongside the wider deal team: Lloyds Banking Group, HSBC Asset Management, Knight Frank, CBRE, Morton Fraser and MacRoberts, Pinsent Masons, and Brodies.
Drum’s sixth Property Company of the Year title reflects a strong performance throughout 2025, which included launching landmark redevelopment schemes, completing a major city-centre regeneration project, and securing significant planning consents in Glasgow and Leeds. Combined together, these initiatives position Drum to deliver high quality HQ office space in central Edinburgh and more than 8,000 new homes across the UK.
